DETAILS OF ACTIVITY
Removal of TC2 Tower Crane – St Thomas Street Closure
St Thomas Street will be closed to pedestrians & vehicles to allow a 450t mobile crane to be positioned outside London Bridge Station loading bay exit (opposite Edge site) to assist in the final removal of our TC2 crane section from site. Pedestrian & vehicular diversions (as per the attached) will be in place throughout the weekend and will be removed on completion of the works on Sunday evening in agreement with TfL/ London Borough of Southwark.
These works are expected to be create minimal noise levels and we do not envisage exceeding our permitted noise levels in line with our S61 agreement. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience the above listed activities may cause and will endeavour to complete the works as soon as possible.
DATES OF ACTIVITY
Road closure will be in effect from 11pm Friday 27th March – 8pm Sunday 29th March. As agreed with London Borough of Southwark team, extended working hours during this period will be:
- Friday 27th March: commencing 11pm (mobile crane-rigging)
- Saturday 28th March: 8am to 6pm
- Sunday 29th March: 8am to 6pm
