St Thomas Street – Planned Civils Works & Temporary Road Closure
We are writing to inform you of upcoming essential civil engineering works taking place
on St Thomas Street, London Bridge.
As part of our ongoing programme to improve digital infrastructure in the area, we will
be installing new ducting to bring fibre connectivity into 60–68 St Thomas Street.
Works Information

- Start Date: 16 February 2026
- End Date: 20 February 2026
- Traffic Management: Full road closure of St Thomas Street outside 60-68
(Access Only) for the duration of the works
As discussed on site, every effort will be made to ensure all deliveries will not be
impacted. The main entrance to the Network Rail service yard will need to be closed for
the duration of the first day of work activities, whilst the road is being excavated.
Operatives and traffic marshals will be on site to facilitate traffic flow going into the
service yard as and when it is required.
Majority of vehicles will be diverted as per the diversion route down Fenning Street and
marshalled into the service yard once back on St Thomas Street.
